Get up & run!

For motivation. For accountability. For tracking. This blog is all that for me.

I like to run. It's time alone, which is far and few between now that we have a 4 year old and a 12 week old. It gives me energy and motivation to do other kinds of workouts. So here we go!

What a great way to start the month of July! I got out at about quarter to 6am. Awesome time of the day to run! The weather was perfect. There was hardly anyone out. The air feels fresher for some reason.

I laced up my running shoes for a quick mile and half. I decided to bring my distance down because my feet weren't holding up too well to the 2 miles a day back in June. My post-preggo body just wasn't ready for it. So to compensate my ambition, I did a couple of sprints, which felt awesome! I have long legs, so it's fun to turn them loose a bit like that. It definitely made a mile more fun than disappointing.
